The Del Norte Center branch of the California Conservation Corps (CCC) was shut down in July of 2004 due to state-wide budget cuts. All the Staff and Corpsmembers were forced to either find new jobs or transfer to another CCC Center.

Regardless of the closure, most everyone wanted to stay in contact with each other. That's why the DNCAA was created.

DNCAlumni.org is the website driven by the DNCAA. All participation and work done for/with the DNCAA and DNCAlumni.org is provided voluntarily by it's members.

DNCAlumni.org also welcomes Backcountry alumni to the site. We provide our services for their cause as well. So, if you are alumni, why not join? Who qualifies as alumni? Anyone who has had anything to do with the Del Norte Center and the Backcountry program is invited!
